The Albanians of Kosovo, also commonly called Kosovo Albanians or Kosovan Albanians, also commonly referred in Albanian as simply Kosovars, constitute the largest ethnic group in Kosovo. They belong to the Gheg sub-group of ethnic Albanians, because they speak Gheg Albanian. Kosovo Albanians predominantly adhere to Islam, the dominant religion in Kosovo at 93.5 percent of the population.
According to the 2024 national census by the Kosovo Agency of Statistics, Albanians comprise 91.8% of the population in Kosovo.
